Jay is an aspiring documentary photographer based in the Bronx, NY.

Jay captures stories of underrepresented and misrepresented people who are frequently left out or distorted by traditional media. Jay's documentary work aims to highlight those often forgotten and neglected narratives in their most raw form. The camera is simply his tool to visually archive history in the making through a socially conscious lens.

Jay's work has been curated in several institutions throughout New York City, such as Barnard College in Manhattan (2016), CUNY Lehman College in the Bronx (2015), Local Project in Long Island City (2014), National Black Theater in Harlem (2015), the Brooklyn Museum (2016), and the Bronx Art Space (2016). He has been published in La GalerĂa Magazine, The Haitian Times, and The PAPER at the City College of New York, among others.
